Job summary

Russell Tobin is recruiting a Finance Analyst to join our Financial Control & Reporting function in London. The role is hybrid and on a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on financial control, reporting and month-end activities to support accurate numbers and clear management reporting.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller, monitor the General Ledger, investigate variances and develop high-quality dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial control, management accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of the General Ledger and month-end processes.
• Comfortable analysing financial data and explaining variances to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and reporting/dashboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end and year-end close process.

• Review accounting entries and payments and explain month-on-month variances to management.

We are currently supporting a rapidly growing international business that has expanded significantly in recent years and is looking to strengthen its finance function with a Finance Analyst focused on financial control, reporting and month-end activities.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will help ensure the numbers are accurate, understand what is driving changes in performance and provide clear reporting to management.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the month-end and year-end close process
