Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh seeks a Finance Control & Reporting professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract within Central Finance. You will post journals, run reconciliations, and provide month-end analysis. The role emphasizes automation using Power Query and Excel, plus improving data quality and controls.

You will collaborate with Ledger Control, FDAO, Prism, Finance Platforms and business teams to ensure accurate data transfer, reporting, and governance, working a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management.
• Accountancy degree completed within the last two years with ACCA/CIMA exemptions.
• Or be a part-qualified accountant with few exams remaining.
• Passion for financial control and a questioning approach.
• Team player.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post finance journals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and substantiation.
• Produce reporting and analysis for month-end and daily processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort in reporting and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain Power Query and Excel automation solutions.
• Use macros to streamline journal workflows.
• Support data enrichment and process improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve finance data and reporting issues.
• Deliver control checks to ensure accuracy and governance.
