Role Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially-focused finance analyst business partner to support the Capex Finance Business Partner/Capex Finance Manager in reviewing, analysing, and reporting on capital projects across the business. This role involves working across finance functions (Commercial Finance and Financial Accounting) and engaging with the business to ensure Capex projects are well-understood in terms of costs, timelines, accounting, risks, and opportunities. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with project teams and oversee multiple Allwyn projects financially.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support the Capex Finance Business Partner/Capex Finance Manager in providing financial oversight of capital projects across the business.
  • Ensure financial assumptions are captured, understood by stakeholders, and forecasts are developed with risks and opportunities tracked.
  • Support robust reporting on projects using data from SAP/SAC and Excel, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively within Finance to ensure other Finance Business Partners and Management are informed on capital topics.
  • Collaborate with Financial Accounting to ensure correct accounting treatment for projects.
  • Provide financial support and guidance to project teams for ad-hoc queries.
  • Support specific capital projects with financial responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified accountant
  • Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as forecasting and data visualization tools; SAP/SAC/BPC experience is a plus
