Job summary

CK Group is seeking a Finance Analyst on a 12-month contract in Basingstoke. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite) with responsibilities including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end reporting. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Power Query/Power BI are preferred.

You will work with Marketing, Supply Chain and HR to provide financial guidance and automate repetitive tasks using Claude and related tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related subject.
• Experience in FP&A, finance, accounting or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to derive insights from data.
• Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power Query/Power BI/VBA/Python a plus.
• Knowledge of generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the yearly business plan and regular forecasts.
• Maintain forecast models and track forecast accuracy.
• Prepare month-end reports and comments per accounting policies.
• Explain spend, variances and forecast accuracy to budget owners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain and HR to provide financial guidance.

Talentmark are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid, based in Basingstoke (3 days onsite). There is potential for extension.

Salary:

£21.37 to £27.16 per hour PAYE, depending upon experience.

Finance Analyst Role:

• Support the yearly business plan and the regular forecasts.
• Look after forecast models and track how accurate they are.
• Prepare month-end reports and comments in line with accounting policies.
• Work with budget owners to explain spend, variances and forecast accuracy.
• Work with teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain and HR. Give them clear financial advice.
• Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate repetitive tasks.

Your Background:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.
• Previous experience in FP&A, finance, accounting or a similar business role.
• Strong analytical skills. You can turn financial data into useful insights.
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power Query, Power BI, VBA or Python is a plus.
• Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues. Experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.
