Job summary

Greencore Group Lts is seeking a finance professional to join the finance team, focusing on management accounts, month-end close, and KPI reporting. You will build relationships with stakeholders and support budgeting forecasts.

The role requires previous management accounts experience, and ideally progress toward an accountancy qualification, within a Logistics or FMCG/Manufacturing setting. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous management accounts experience essential and ideally working towards an accountancy qualification.
• Prior experience within Finance within a Logistics or FMCG/Manufacturing environment is a benefit but not essential
• Numerate and literate
• Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting for example, weekly flash, weekly profit and loss and, month end close, are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Report and communicate key performance indicators to monitor and drive positive change
• Ensure input into costings is accurate and within agreed timescales
• Build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
• Support budget quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision making
• Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensure queries are resolved in timely and effective manner
• Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making
