Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and insight to support budgeting and forecasting, optimising financial performance with a focus on manufacturing KPIs.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders across the business and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will influence costings, reporting, and financial planning within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous management accounts experience essential and ideally working towards an accountancy qualification.
• Experience within Finance in a Logistics or FMCG/Manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Numerate and literate with strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial reporting (weekly flash, P&L, month-end close) is accurate and timely.
• Report and communicate KPIs to monitor and drive changes.
• Input into costings accurately within agreed timescales.
• Build cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support budget quarterly forecasts and inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries promptly.
• Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making.

What you'll be doing

We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and insight to support stakeholders, thereby driving informed decisions and supporting a robust budgeting and forecasting approach, optimising financial performance with a particular focus on relevant key performance indicators within manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure financial reporting for example, weekly flash, weekly profit and loss and, month end close, are completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Report and communicate key performance indicators to monitor and drive positive change
• Ensure input into costings is accurate and within agreed timescales
• Build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
• Support budget quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision making
• Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensure queries are resolved in timely and effective manner
• Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insight to aid interpretation and decision making

What we're looking for
