Job summary

Chalk Hill Group, Bournemouth-based, is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on ERP data mapping, system configuration, and automation of reporting to support consolidated accounts and notes to the financial statements.

The ideal candidate is studying ACCA or CIMA, has strong financial systems experience, and advanced Excel skills. The role is hybrid with occasional office visits, offering progression within a growing finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial reporting, including notes to accounts.
• Strong Excel skills for modelling and analysis.
• Experience with consolidation or planning tools is desirable.

Chalk Hill Group are partnering with an established organisation, based in Bournemouth, in their search for a Finance Analyst to join their Finance team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the mapping and reconciliation of their ERP system, ensuring data accuracy across multiple entities.
• Assist with system configuration, maintenance, testing and data modelling.
• Help automate reporting processes and build structures to support the preparation of consolidated group accounts and financial statement notes.
• Troubleshoot system issues and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
• Contribute to wider finance transformation projects, ensuring deadlines are met and improvements are delivered effectively.

About You:

• Ideally someone studying ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong financial systems experience, alongside advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, including financial statements and notes to the accounts.
• Familiarity with financial consolidation or planning tools.
• A proactive problem-solver who can manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate confidently with stakeholders across the business.

Hybrid working with only occasional visits to the office required.
