Job description

CMA is delighted to be recruiting for our highly successful Bournemouth retail client. They have an exciting opportunity for a new person to join their dynamic finance team as a Finance Analyst on a one-year fixed-term contract basis.

You will be an existing Finance Analyst or junior Finance Business Partner with a desire to prepare reports and analyze financial data to drive commercial business decisions. You will have direct communication with senior management on a daily basis.

What will the Finance Analyst role involve?

1. Financial model maintenance and accessing systems for annual budget and forecasts for P&L;
2. Providing meaningful insight and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision-making;
3. Managing budget and forecast timetable and processes, liaising with cross-functional departments;
4. Stakeholder management and presenting at senior management meetings;
5. Providing financial monitoring on business project spend, including tracking efficiency savings versus business targets;
6. Working closely with and supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:

1. CIMA qualified is ideal; part-qualified candidates will also be considered;
2. Analytical skills and experience in business partnering, with confidence in communicating at all levels;
3. Strong system skills, including Excel and Google Sheets;
4. Ability to start immediately and commit to a one-year fixed-term contract.
