Job summary

Fullers Foods is seeking an experienced Transactional Finance Assistant to provide accurate and timely support across purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash management and expenses. You will ensure transactions are processed in line with company policies and financial controls, maintaining ledger accuracy and supporting supplier and customer relationships.

The role involves processing supplier and customer invoices, reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes where applicable.
• Assist with supplier payment runs in accordance with agreed terms.
• Process customer invoices and credit notes ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
• Support cash allocation and reconciling customer accounts.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to queries relating to invoices, payments and balances.
• Maintain accurate records in the finance system.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
