Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks a qualified Financial Accountant – Projects & Investments for a Family Office near the Somerset/Dorset border. The role blends core accounting duties with investment reporting, governance and strategic projects.

You will lead process improvements, system development and automation within a small, collaborative team. A pathway to Senior Manager is available, with hybrid working after an initial training period.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Minimum three years' relevant experience in practice or industry
• Experience in financial reporting and process improvement
• Experience with technology and continuous improvement
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills desirable
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work with highly confidential information

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of finance, investment reporting and compliance activities
• Lead strategic projects and process improvements
• Support wealth and investment reporting and accuracy of information
• Assist with investment performance reporting, asset revaluations and intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain loan summaries, asset statements and supporting information
• Develop and maintain systems for investment information and records
• Support management accounts, financial statements, VAT returns and audit information across entities
• Ensure governance, company secretarial requirements and statutory filings are met
