Job summary

Datel Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our busy Finance Team in Weston-super-Mare. You will lead monthly management accounts, support the month-end process, and drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

The role requires fully qualified accounting credentials and strong Excel/financial modelling skills, with a focus on controls, stakeholder communication, and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accounting professional with CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting.
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicating financial information to non-finance teams.
• Clear communicator able to build credibility with operational and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing monthly management accounts and the month-end process.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Managing cash flow and working capital.
• Monitoring project and contract performance.
• Maintaining financial controls and compliance.
• Supporting and developing the Assistant Management Accountant.
