Job summary

Stannah Stairlifts is seeking a Final Process Checking Operator (Masting) to join the Rail Manufacturing Team in Newburn. You will perform final inspections, interpret drawings, and complete cosmetic finishing to ensure products meet high quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.

The role is full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week, with a Monday-Thursday schedule (06:15–16:00). A manufacturing background and ability to read technical drawings are essential.

Stannah Stairlifts have an exciting opportunity for a Final Process Checking Operator (Masting) to join the Rail Manufacturing Team based at Newburn.

This role is responsible for ensuring finished products meet the highest quality standards before being distributed to customers. You will carry out final inspections, interpret technical drawings, complete polishing and cosmetic finishing work, and ensure products are right first time while maintaining safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.

As a Final Process Checking Operator (Masting), you will work 37 hours per weekMonday to Thursday
06:15 - 16:00. This is a permanent position.

To be successful as a Final Process Checking Operator (Masting), it is essential that you have previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment and are confident interpreting technical drawings. Experience in polishing, cosmetic finishing, and working to fine tolerances would be desirable.
