Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group at Coupar Angus is recruiting for a poultry processing role. You will fillet and trim poultry to spec, working in a fast-paced production line with careful attention to knife work, quality and pace. Full training is provided, no prior experience required.

Shifts available include days and backshifts; training rate £13 per hour, rising to £13.54 per hour plus a £50 weekly backshift allowance once trained. 40 hours per week with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or factory work is helpful but not essential.
• Full training provided so no prior experience is required.
• Level 1 Health & Safety and Level 2 Food Safety certification supplied during training.

Responsibilities

• Filleting and trimming poultry using knives and approved equipment.
• Produce cuts to customer and product specifications.
• Maintain production standards and targets with accuracy.
• Check product quality and identify issues.
• Minimise waste and maximise product yield.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Job Description

Shifts Available:
Dayshift – Monday to Friday 0600-1500hrs
Backshift – Sunday 1200-2100hrs Monday to Thursday 1500-0000hrs
Pay Rate – £13 per hour (Training Rate), once trained: £13.54 per hour + £50 weekly Backshift allowance
Hours - 40 hours per week
In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately filleting and trimming poultry products to the required specification. This is a hands on role where knife skills, accuracy, quality and pace are important. If you have previous experience in poultry, meat, fish or another food processing environment involving knife work, we would be particularly interested in speaking to you.
Full training is provided, so no previous experience is required.

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to high standards of safety and quality.
