Job summary

Leep Utilities is seeking a proactive Water Revenue Inspector to join our Operations team. Based home-based with field duties covering Reading and surrounding areas, you will perform meter reads, investigate anomalies, and engage customers to resolve revenue-related issues.

You will balance network performance, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to reducing revenue loss while delivering excellent customer service. Travel across the region is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled and ad-hoc meter reads across manual, radio AMR drive-by, and AMI meters.
• Conduct customer visits to investigate behind-the-meter water waste and issue sources, recording findings and actions.
• Record boundary flow and pressure checks to support network balancing.
• Deploy and maintain monitoring tech like sensors and data loggers.
• Survey sites for new meter installations and collect field data for billing and asset records.
• Ensure inspections and activities are logged in company systems and governance standards.
