Job summary

PTSG Water Treatment is recruiting a field-based technician to ensure water systems are safe and compliant across the Doncaster region. You’ll travel to customer sites, inspect and clean water storage vessels, lead tank chlorination, install thermostatic mixing valves, and monitor systems per HSG 274 Part 2.

You’ll use the SimPRO system to manage workload, applying knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of HSG 274 Part 2 and ACoP L8 is essential.
• DBS check and BPSS clearance are mandatory security checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect and service water systems.
• Inspect and clean water storage vessels and lead on tank chlorinations.
• Install and service thermostatic mixing valves.
• Conduct routine monitoring and sampling as per HSG 274 Part 2.
• Use the SimPRO system to manage workload and report issues.
