Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer – UPS to service and repair UPS systems across the Thames Valley, M4 Corridor and M40 region. This field-based role requires travel throughout the UK and participation in out-of-hours support.

The successful candidate will perform routine servicing, fault finding, and remedial works on UPS equipment ranging from 5kVA to 1MVA, including battery replacements and on-site installations, while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' UPS maintenance experience across major brands.
• Experience servicing UPS systems from 5kVA to 1MVA.
• 18th Edition IEE qualification is required.
• Strong electrical engineering knowledge and IT skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of UPS systems from 5kVA to 1MVA.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and system faults on UPS gear.
• Complete remedial works and UPS overhauls.
• Carry out UPS battery replacements and new installations.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns; be first on site.
• Participate in out-of-hours callouts and travel across the UK.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and reports.
