Job summary

Vertiv in Golborne is looking for a Service Technician responsible for start-ups, maintenance, and emergency repairs of UPS and power distribution systems. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills along with fault-finding expertise to ensure effective operations.

Candidates should have National Level 3 qualifications and previous experience in the generator standby power industry. The position includes participation in on-call rotations and daily travel to customer sites while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in standby power or related industry.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Clean valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct start-ups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for UPS and power distribution equipment.
• Perform standard service activities including load bank tests.
• Carry out fault finding and repairs within electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
