NEOS Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer – UPS to join the field service team. The role covers routine servicing, fault finding and remedial works across UPS systems from 5kVA to 1MVA, with a travel-heavy UK remit and on-call duties.

The candidate should have 3–5 years' UPS maintenance experience, familiarity with major UPS brands, and 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations. Excellent customer communication is essential in a field-based environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' relevant experience as a UPS Systems Maintenance Engineer / UPS Engineer.
• Experience working across all major UPS brands.
• 18th Edition IEE qualification.
• Strong practical electrical engineering knowledge.
• Good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Practical experience using laptop-based UPS system analysis and control programmes.
• Right to live and work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of UPS systems from 5kVA to 1MVA.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and system faults on UPS equipment.
• Perform remedial works and UPS overhauls (minor & major).
• Carry out UPS battery replacements.
• Work on new and replacement UPS installations.
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and act as first on-site responder.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Provide UPS service engineer support to customers within your area.
• Travel across the UK to cover your geographical area.
