SRL Traffic Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainee Traffic Systems Technician to join our market‑leading team. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone practical, physically fit, and keen to learn portable traffic lights, temporary traffic management equipment, and intelligent transport technology.

No industry experience is required beyond a full UK driving licence and a willingness to learn. You will work on‑site at customer sites, gain field skills, and contribute to a reliable

Competenze

Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
Physically fit – able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
Practical, safety‑focused and reliable.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

Deliver, set up and configure portable traffic light systems at customer sites.
Carry out on‑site battery exchanges to keep equipment operational.
Inspect, repair and maintain hire fleet equipment in the depot.
Load, unload and transport equipment safely using a company vehicle.
Keep accurate records using mobile technology and internal systems.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring equipment is installed safely and correctly.
Participate in on‑call rota and support during out‑of‑hours situations.
