Job summary

Wessex Water Services is seeking a Smart Network Technician to install and retrieve acoustic loggers, diagnose faults and repair flow and pressure monitoring devices across Wiltshire, Somerset or Dorset. You will join a large, dynamic operational team and receive training while helping detect leakage in our water distribution network.

A company van is provided for work use, along with a competitive benefits package and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn new skills and work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors and interpreting plans/maps.
• Flexible with working hours, especially in winter when leaks occur.

Responsibilities

• Install and retrieve acoustic loggers and diagnose faults.
• Repair flow and pressure monitoring devices to reduce leakage.
• Operate as part of a large, dynamic operational team.
