Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians to support leak detection across the Southwest region. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with flexible hours, and a company vehicle is provided.

The successful candidate will record acoustic data, work outdoors with the public, and receive full training. A full UK driving licence is required, and training in water hygiene and manual handling will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and interact with the public.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Record acoustic sound files across a water network using digital equipment.
• Work independently within urban/suburban environments.
• Liaise with supervisors and aim to meet targets.
• Assist in leak detection activities.
