Spencer Ogden is a global specialist recruitment consultancy, partnering with leading organisations across the energy, infrastructure, engineering and technology sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Field Solutions Specialist to support an established energy storage organisation across its EMEA operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a field operations, quality or technical professional with experience resolving site-based issues, managing corrective actions and coordinating remediation activities across operational energy projects.
You will lead field remediation activities across operating projects, addressing quality issues, non-conformance reports (NCRs), failures and corrective actions. You will drive the investigation, resolution, verification and closure of non-conformances, ensuring all activities are properly documented and completed in line with quality requirements.
The role will involve managing field resources and subcontractors, including mobilisation, workforce planning and execution support. You will collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Warranty and Project Management teams to investigate and resolve technical and operational issues.
You will also develop remediation plans, schedules, risk mitigation strategies and progress reports to support successful project delivery. An important aspect of the position will be standardising field operations through improved remediation procedures, tooling requirements, recurring spare-parts lists and operational reporting.
Candidates should have experience in field operations, quality management, technical services, commissioning, maintenance or remediation within the energy or engineering sector. Demonstrable experience managing non-conformances, root-cause investigations, corrective actions or field quality issues is essential.
You should have experience coordinating subcontractors, field engineers or technical resources across multiple projects, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, procurement, warranty and project teams.
The successful candidate will be comfortable developing remediation plans, monitoring progress and producing clear technical and operational reports. A proactive, solutions-focused approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex site issues is essential, together with strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience within battery energy storage systems (BESS), power generation, renewable energy or other complex energy infrastructure projects would be advantageous. Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally approximately 25-50% of the time.
