Job summary

Net Zero Evolution is recruiting a Solar PV Maintenance Electrician to service commercial solar PV installations with a focus on uptime and safety. The role blends home-based field work across Reading and surrounding areas with field visits to customer sites, delivering fault finding, maintenance and reporting.

The position offers training in battery storage and EV charging, a company vehicle, and benefits as part of a growing renewable energy leader in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with Level 3 electrical qualification and 18th Edition.
• Experience installing, commissioning or maintaining commercial solar PV systems.
• Able to fault find, inspect and test electrical installations.
• Willingness to travel across the South of England and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned preventative maintenance on commercial solar PV systems.
• fault finding, inspection, testing and repairs across sites.
• Work independently at customer sites and maintain safety and compliance.
• Develop expertise in battery storage and EV charging technologies over time.
