Job summary

Strativ Group in London is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be the technical face of the software in the field, working closely with customers to understand requirements, supporting deployment and ensuring smooth integration.

You’ll also collaborate with internal engineering teams to build and test new capabilities. You will deploy on site with customers (around 30% travel), become an expert in the enterprise software stack, train and support customers,

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in aerospace, autonomy or robotics.
• Background as a solutions, application or sales engineer.
• Experience in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Advanced degree in robotics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deploying on site with customers (around 30% travel).
• Becoming an expert in the enterprise software stack and its modules.
• Training and supporting customers, and debugging software and API integration issues.
• Building applications with the software development kit.
• Supporting the sales team with demos, conferences and immersions.
• Helping with post-sales deployment and integration.
• Creating technical documentation and training materials.
• Feeding customer insight back to product engineering.
