Job summary

Merson Signs is seeking a Trainee Signage Installer to support safe, high‑quality signage installations across construction, retail and leisure sites in the Newcastle area. You will join an experienced team and gain hands-on experience with branding installations.

This full‑time role includes a guaranteed minimum weekly wage, company van and tools, training, holiday entitlement and progression opportunities within a supportive installation team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working different shift patterns and travelling out of town.
• CSCS card required.
• Full, valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair signage across various sites.
• Follow health and safety requirements on site.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and represent the company well.
• Store and transport signage and tools safely.
• Complete van and tool reports and meet deadlines.
