Job summary

KRG Holdings Ltd in Newcastle is recruiting two experienced Sign Fitters/Installers for permanent roles. You will join a two-person team to install a variety of internal and external signage at customer sites across the UK.

The role requires travel, overnight stays when needed, and working to strict health and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a background in signage installation, experience with retail and forecourt projects, and holds CSCS, IPAF and PASMA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required for travel to customer sites.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation specs.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in signage installation.

Responsibilities

• Install illuminated signs, fascias, tray signs, totems and vinyl graphics.
• Work in two-person installation teams on nationwide projects across the UK.
• Read and follow installation drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with site managers, contractors and customers.
• Ensure installations are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Travel nationwide with regular overnight stays.

Experienced Sign Fitters Wanted - Newcastle

Are you an experienced Sign Fitter looking for a permanent role with competitive hourly pay, overtime and a company van?

We are recruiting two experienced Sign Fitters to join an established and growing signage business based in the Newcastle area. You'll work as part of a two-person installation team, fitting a variety of signage for retail, commercial and nationwide projects.

With regular travel, varied installation work and overtime opportunities, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced sign fitters looking for long-term, secure employment.

The Role

Working alongside another fitter, you'll be responsible for installing a range of internal and external signage at customer sites across the UK.

Your duties will include:

• Installing illuminated signs, fascias, tray signs, totems, vinyl graphics and other signage.

• Working as part of a two-person installation team on nationwide projects.

• Reading and following technical drawings and installation specifications.

• Liaising professionally with site managers, contractors and customers.

• Ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately and on schedule.

• Travelling nationwide, including regular overnight stays when required.

• Following company procedures and all relevant Health & Safety requirements.

About You

We're looking for experienced Sign Fitters, Sign Installers or Installation Engineers with a background in the signage industry.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience installing a range of internal and external signage.

• Experience with retail, commercial or forecourt/petrol station installations.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Good practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

• A full UK driving licence.

Desirable: SPA Passport and previous forecourt or petrol station installation experience.
