Job summary

G3 Systems Ltd is seeking a capable Field Services Engineer to join our team supporting PGTE and TERRIER Training Systems at the AFV Gunnery Schools in Lulworth, Dorset, and Tidworth, Wiltshire. The role involves hands-on fault-finding, maintenance and on-site customer support.

The ideal candidate has an electrical, electronic or electro-mechanical engineering background, with experience from military environments advantageous.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in electrical or electronic engineering, or evidence of SQEP.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification or willingness to undertake training.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-service technical support and fault-finding for PGTE and TERRIER at Lulworth and Tidworth.
• On-site customer support to military personnel to optimise equipment use.
• Monitor training system operation to ensure safe and proper use.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, investigate faults, and support corrective maintenance to maintain availability.
• Travel to UK sites for maintenance and call-outs, including overnight stays where required.
• Complete maintenance records and technical reports accurately and on time.
• Promote a positive safety culture and comply with IMS policies.
