Job summary

Delve Search - Global Search Consultants is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the UK and Ireland, maintaining and servicing laboratory instrumentation for scientists and engineers.

After comprehensive training in the UK and Europe, you will manage your own customer visits, perform installations and commissioning, and provide technical troubleshooting and on-site support, while building long-term relationships across industries.

Qualifications

• Experience working with laboratory instrumentation or analytical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.

Are you a scientist, laboratory technician or engineer looking to move into a customer-facing technical role?

Our client is a well-established international manufacturer of scientific instrumentation used across pharmaceutical, food, chemical and research industries. To support customers throughout the UK and Ireland, they are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer .

The Role

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of laboratory instrumentation
• Installation and commissioning of new systems
• Technical troubleshooting and customer support
• Building long-term customer relationships

Following comprehensive training in the UK and Europe, you'll become responsible for managing your own customer visits and schedule, working closely with scientists and engineers across a diverse range of industries.

About You

• Degree or experience in a science or engineering discipline
• Interest in instrumentation and problem solving
• Organised and customer-focused
• Full UK driving licence

Laboratory, analytical instrumentation or qualification experience would be advantageous, but attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
