We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer within the Southwest of England.

Have you just finished an Electrical qualification or Apprenticeship and are looking to develop your skills? Main Responsibilities for a Field Service Engineer:

• Develop your electrical skills within our onsite training centre.
• Commission, calibrate, and repair onsite measurement instrumentation equipment.
• Work across various industries (Food & Beverage, Water, Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Chemical, Life Science) within the Company customer database.
• Liaise with Service Coordinators to ensure that all spares, tools, and paperwork are available to carry out duties.
• Adhere to site safety rules, permit to work systems, and carry out risk assessments.
• Work to local and industry procedures and comply with industry codes of practice and the Company quality management system.
• Travel up to 2 hours from your home address, with periods of absence from home expected, including overnight stays in hotels.
• Provide services and support to other departments and customers as deemed appropriate by the Services Manager.

Qualification + Profile for a Field Service Engineer:

• Ideally have a qualification in electrical engineering.
• A recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering is ideal.
• Experience in previous electrical bias roles.
• Drive to develop skills within process engineering.
• Ability to develop good working relationships with customers; ideally experience in a customer-facing service engineering role.
