Job summary

Future Select are recruiting a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to join our team in the North East. Based around Middlesborough and surrounding areas, you will install and commission water treatment systems, perform servicing and provide technical updates to clients.

Experience with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 is preferred; training and benefits are offered. You may travel across northern commercial, industrial and healthcare contracts as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
• Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• It would be advantageous to hold qualifications in: plumbing and / or electrics.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning on various water treatment systems and components, including: reverse osmosis, water softeners, UV filtration and deionisation units
• Performing routine servicing and maintenance on existing systems
• Highlighting any faults and repairing as neccessary
• Upselling replacements / company services
• Ordering materials / parts as required
• Producing quotations
• Completing regular service reports
• Providing technical advice and project updates to clients
