Job summary
SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our UK Service Team. This role involves site-based work across the UK, carrying out cleaning, maintenance and inspections, with full training provided.
You should be practical, reliable and capable of teamwork, with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away from home as required. We offer structured training and opportunities for electrical and mechanical development.
Qualifications
- Experience in a site-based, construction, maintenance or industrial role.
- Practical, hands-on approach and strong work ethic.
- Reliable with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in physically active environments.
- Willing to travel, stay away from home and work overtime when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cooling tower cleaning and jet washing
- Assist with maintenance, repairs and inspections
- Support experienced technicians on customer sites
- Work safely using tools, access equipment and PPE
- Travel to sites across the UK with occasional overnight stays
- Complete training and develop technical skills over time
