Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.

Position Summary

Salary Offer: £26,000 base salary with an additional £1,300 shift allowance.

Light & Wonder is currently seeking Field Service Technician(s) to cover customer sites across the Ilford area. Field Service Technicians will be responsible for servicing, installing, and repairing betting and gaming terminals.

As a Field Service Technician, you'll ensure that our customers receive top-notch service and provide comprehensive instruction and ongoing training as needed. Additionally, you'll assist in developing customer service procedures and continually improving service quality.

Travel within your designated area will be necessary, with potential travel to other regions for coverage as required.

This role is crucial to our business, requiring 40 hours per week on a rotating 5-day schedule. You'll be equipped with a company van, mobile phone, tablet, and all necessary tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all new shop installations meet high standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise equipment removal from customer premises.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships, providing basic operating procedures, event instructions, and information on new software/hardware.
  • Conduct shop visits and maintenance regularly as instructed by your Line Manager.
  • Log customer concerns, incidents, and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Passion for technology and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Punctuality and ability to meet targets.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Candidates with relevant qualifications but limited experience may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in a technical role, ideally within gaming/electronics or IT, is preferred.

You may have experience in roles such as Field Service Technician, Field Engineer, Electronics Field Service Engineer, IT Support, Electronics Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Technical Support, Installation Engineer, IT Trainer, or Field Service Customer Engineer.
