Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a
Science Technician to join a highly successful and well-resourced secondary school in
Ilford, East London. This is a
full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone with experience in school science labs or a recent science graduate eager to support STEM education.
The Role
- Support the science department in preparing materials, equipment and chemicals for practical lessons across KS3–KS5.
- Maintain and manage lab stock, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols (CLEAPSS guidelines).
- Assist during practicals when required and help ensure the smooth running of science classrooms.
- Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking team with a strong reputation for academic achievement.
