Job summary

Synergi Recruitment's client is seeking a Service Technician to join a growing technical services team. You will install, service, maintain and repair dispense and cooling equipment at customer sites.

Ideal candidates are practical and mechanically minded with strong fault-finding and communication skills. Full training will be provided; the role involves weekend rota and driving a company van.

Qualifications

• A strong practical and mechanical mindset
• An interest in repairing, maintaining or understanding mechanical equipment
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A professional, positive and reliable attitude
• The ability to work independently and organise your own workload
• Confidence working across different customer sites
• Basic IT skills for completing digital reports and service documentation
• A full UK driving licence
• The ability to undertake physical installation and maintenance work
• The flexibility to participate in a weekend and bank holiday rota

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair dispense and cooling equipment.
• Investigate equipment faults and complete effective repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and respond promptly to customer requirements.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Install equipment across new and existing customer sites.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and provide customers with practical guidance.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Complete service reports and update relevant systems accurately.
• Manage vehicle stock, tools, equipment and spare parts.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
