Job Description:

Role Summary:
The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s pumps, seals, and other equipment across industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater industries, depending on the customer engagement.
In this role, the Technician provides real-time technical support, recommends repairs, upgrades, and replacements, and troubleshoots onsite at customer facilities.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and resolve promptly.
• Work with customer personnel and lead work crews as needed.
• Oversee repair cycles: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Ensure successful and timely equipment installation.
• Check equipment prior to start-up and assess performance.
• Monitor maintenance and performance of equipment.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Flowserve support teams.
• Maintain accurate records of reports, quotes, and job details.
• Have knowledge of industrial pump, valve, seal, and actuator operations.
• Experience with mechanical equipment installation and repair.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Self-starter with good follow-through, able to work independently.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Willing to travel globally for extended periods.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

• Professional certifications.
