Job summary

Demob Job Ltd on behalf of a global technology business is recruiting a Field Service Technician to service customers across the South Coast, including Brighton, Worthing, Poole and Bournemouth. You will travel to customer sites, perform inspections, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment, and work independently with full product training provided.

Candidates should have a technical or engineering background with basic electrical fault finding, good problem solving and strong customer

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites across designated region, carrying out inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure equipment remains operational and meets customer expectations.

I am recruiting for my client, a global technology business specialising in the installation, maintenance and support of specialist equipment. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Field Service Technician to support customers across the South Coast, covering areas including Brighton, Worthing, Poole and Bournemouth - candidates must live in or close to these locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical or engineering background who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working independently. Field Service Technician Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites across your designated region carrying out inspections, servicing, fault finding and repairs on specialist equipment.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure equipment remains operational and meets customer expectations.
• Manage your own workload whilst working independently.
• Complete service reports and associated documentation.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.

Field Service Technician Requirements

• Technical or engineering background with basic electrical fault finding experience.
• Practical approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Keen to learn new products and technologies.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to regional travel.
