Job summary

Stowgroup in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our UK After-Sales Service team.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will perform repairs, installations and preventive maintenance at customer sites, travel across the UK, and liaise between customers and Stow.

You will work independently, manage on-site interventions, and contribute to safety and quality standards while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance or technical installations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics, or industrial maintenance.
• Electrical safety qualifications or authorisations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, modifications and troubleshooting on existing storage installations.
• Coordinate on-site activities and act as the main contact between customers and stow.
• Supervise additional contractors or installation teams when required.
• Prepare accurate technical intervention reports.
• Participate in inspection and handover of completed works.
• Support the commissioning of new installations.
• Coordinate technical activities and contractors on site.
• Ensure installations meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and technical inspections.
• Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality procedures.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our UK After-Sales Service team.

Your Mission

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in field service, industrial maintenance or technical installations.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a similar discipline.
• Appropriate electrical safety qualifications or authorisations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, including overnight stays when required.
