Job summary

Castle Employment Group in the York area is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias to join the team. The role is Monday to Friday days, covering customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York, with a salary advertised at up to £42k (£35k-£40k basic) plus overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical field or related industry.
• Full driving licence required.
• LOLER & PUWER regulation knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manual handling equipment and FLT/Cherry Pickers on customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York.
• Provide service van, tablet, mobile, PPE.
• Ensure safety checks and regulatory compliance.
• Work Monday to Friday dayshift.

A well-established leading materials handling Company based in the York area are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias, to join the business. This role is working on a Monday to Friday days shift and salary is £35k - £40k.

Thesuccessful Service Engineer will be responsible for:

• Maintaining all manual handling equipment, FLT, Cherry Pickers on customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York


• Paid door to door


• Service van, tablet, mobile, PPE, provided


• Valid driving licence essential


• Thorough Examination inspection (LOLER & PUWER regs) trained is beneficial

• Equipment operator licenses preferred


• At least 3 years’ experience in same or related mechanical industry

• Must be able to work well as a team and on own initiative
