Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE across customer sites in Warrington and surrounding areas.

This is a varied, customer-facing role with routes covering up to six jobs per day. A full UK driving licence and hands-on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic skills are essential, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or maintaining forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE at customer sites.
• Plan daily routes, typically up to 6 jobs per day in the Warrington patch.
• Work with a strong technical support function and ongoing manufacturer training.

Job Title - Field Service Engineer

Location: Warrington and Surrounding Areas.

Salary:£30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift:Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

I'm partnering with a market-leading materials handling business who are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other MHE equipment across customer sites in your local patch.This is a varied, customer-facing field role where no two days are the same—you'll be working on a wide range of equipment (from pallet trucks through to counterbalance trucks, VNA and automated solutions), typically covering up to 6 jobs per day across the Warrington area. You'll have the freedom to plan your day, backed by a strong technical support function and ongoing manufacturer training.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
