Castle Employment Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a leading materials handling company in the York area. The role is a Monday to Friday days shift with a salary advertised as £35k-£40k basic, plus potential overtime to reach up to £42k.

Responsibilities include maintaining manual handling equipment, FLT and cherry pickers on customer sites within ~50 miles of York.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in mechanical industry.
• Excellent driving licence is essential.
• Able to work well in a team and on own initiative.
• FLT/Cherry Picker exposure or familiarity is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Maintain manual handling equipment and FLT on customer sites within 50 miles of York.
• Provide service van, tablet, mobile and PPE as required.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

A well-established leading materials handling Company based in the York area are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias, to join the business. This role is working on a Monday to Friday days shift and salary is £35k - £40k.

Thesuccessful Service Engineer will be responsible for:

• Maintaining all manual handling equipment, FLT, Cherry Pickers on customer sites within a 50 mile radius of York
• Paid door to door
• Service van, tablet, mobile, PPE, provided
• Valid driving licence essential
• Thorough Examination inspection (LOLER & PUWER regs) trained is beneficial

• Equipment operator licenses preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in same or related mechanical industry

• Must be able to work well as a team and on own initiative
