Job summary

Mazrui Ventures Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain industrial woodworking machinery at customer sites across the South East.

The role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, installing and commissioning machinery as needed, and providing professional technical support while working remotely across a field-based territory. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing or repairing woodworking machinery is essential.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Experience with CNC or automated machinery is advantageous.
• Ability to read electrical or mechanical drawings.
• Professional and confident when dealing with customers.
• Willingness to travel throughout the South East.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair industrial woodworking machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Attend planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdowns.
• Install and commission machinery where required.
• Replace faulty components and test completed repairs.
• Provide professional technical support to customers.
• Complete service reports and communicate with the service department.
• Work independently across a field-based territory.
