Job summary

Adecco is seeking a field-based Waste Water, Sewage Treatment Plant & Pump Engineer to service domestic residential properties across multiple sites in the UK. You'll diagnose, repair and maintain sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems, with a focus on reliable on-site service and customer satisfaction.

Providing weekend optional overtime and door-to-door pay, the role includes a company vehicle, tools and ongoing training. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater, pumps, drainage, utilities or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and on-site.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Replacing older septic tank systems with modern treatment plant technology.
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent on-site service.
• Managing your own schedule and workload across multiple sites.
• Completing reports and maintaining accurate job records via mobile applications.
