Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting a Pump Service Engineer to join a specialist wastewater solutions provider in Stonehouse. The role is field-based, 45 hours per week, full-time, with a permanent contract, paying £36,000 - £42,000 per annum.

You will service, maintain and repair sewage pumps and wastewater systems across domestic, commercial and industrial sites. We are looking for an electrically or mechanically minded engineer with fault-finding skills, strong customer service and the ability

Qualifications

• Experience in pump engineering, wastewater, or similar engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, repairs and call-outs on sewage pumps and wastewater systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Completing planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• Liaising with customers on-site and providing updates on work undertaken.
