Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting a Pump Service Engineer in Stonehouse to join a wastewater solutions provider. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems on domestic, commercial and industrial sites.

Work independently with a planned weekly route, need a full UK driving licence and mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications. Permanent, full-time with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications required.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs on sewage systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Manage on-site reporting and customer updates.
• Coordinate with scheduling team to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain van stock and tools; manage daily schedules on mobile.
• Deliver excellent customer service and safe working practices.
