Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting a Pump Service Engineer to join a growing wastewater solutions provider. The role covers servicing, maintenance and fault finding on sewage treatment plants and pumps across domestic, commercial and industrial sites.

You will work independently in the field, follow weekly routes, and provide excellent customer service with a focus on safety. The position is full-time (45 hours per week) with a permanent contract, offering a competitive £38,000–£42,000 salary and

Qualifications

• Experience in pump engineering or wastewater
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, repairs on sewage plants, pumps and wastewater systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• Liaising with customers on-site and providing updates on work undertaken.
• Managing van stock and ensuring tools/parts available.
• Using mobile tech to manage daily schedules and job info.
