Qualifications

• Field service engineering experience on vacuum pumps or similar systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong reporting skills and attention to documentation.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Time-served engineering or electrical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Being on-site technical expert maintaining, repairing, and supporting vacuum pumps, systems and plant equipment.
• Performing scheduled and emergency maintenance on vacuum pumps and systems.
• Fault finding, strip-downs, repairs, and breakdown cover across multiple manufacturers.
• Surveying equipment and promoting service contracts / healthcare plans.
• Preparing quotes for minor installations, upgrades and system alterations.
• Carrying out minor installation and commissioning work when required.
• Maintaining accurate service reports, parts usage, and personal stock levels.
• Providing technical advice and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
