Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be working with a progressive and expanding engineering business based in Hull to recruit a Field Service / Workshop Engineer. You will build prototype and early production machines while improving assembly processes and design efficiency, and diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using drawings and technical documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Ability to diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults with basic readings.
Experience using a multimeter and basic mechanical tools is required.
Understanding hydraulic systems and safety best practices is essential.
Proactive attitude and professional communication in the field.

Responsibilities

Build prototype and early production machines and improve assembly processes.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using drawings and docs.
Travel to customer sites across Yorkshire and occasionally beyond for servicing and repairs.
Represent the business professionally to operators and managers in the field.
