Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd in Wirral seeks a Field Service Engineer to join a role blending workshop and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery. You will travel within the UK and overseas, performing installations and commissioning while supporting equipment returned from customer sites.

The candidate should have an electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled background, field service experience, willingness to travel, and PLC understanding.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled background.
• Field Service / Customer Engineering experience.
• Willing to travel UK and worldwide when required.
• High Speed FMCG machinery experience.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• PLC understanding, modification experience preferred.
• Clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Mixture of workshop, installs, commissioning and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery.
• Live within commutable distance of Wirral site; work from Wirral workshop on projects and equipment returned from customer sites.
• Perform field service and installs; occasional stays away with fuel and transport provided.
