Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician / Engineer in Maidstone. The role involves on-site visits, diagnostic work and customer support with full on-the-job training. A full driving licence is required; occasional overnight stays may be needed.

Salary starts at £28,000 per year with a clear career path in a hands-on technical environment. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week, with a company van and pension.

Qualifications

• Automotive, engineering or technical experience is highly advantageous.
• Confident and friendly communicator who enjoys dealing with people.
• Naturally curious and keen to understand how things work.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers on-site and build great working relationships.
• Listen to customers, diagnose issues and recommend solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with garage equipment.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Show customers how to use equipment safely and effectively.
• Keep clear records of visits, repairs and maintenance.
• Work with the technical team to share feedback and improve products.
