Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer for end-of-line packaging machinery. The role focuses on repair, refurbishment, installation and commissioning, with emphasis on fault finding and upgrading Siemens PLCs or equivalent.

You will operate UK-wide with 2–3 nights away from home weekly and occasional weekend work. Training provided, with exposure to European HQ for advanced PLC upgrades.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Field Service experience in packaging machinery, preferably in food/beverage sectors.
• Proven ability to fault-find and modify PLCs on end-of-line equipment.
• Electrical and electronic engineering qualifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish, install and commission end-of-line packaging machinery.
• Work with PLCs, fault finding and upgrading Siemens PLCs or similar.
• Cover the UK and Ireland; 2–3 nights away per week; occasional weekends.
